Job Description:

You will be developing new products and processes including improving on existing processes while containing costs and maintaining quality on products for operations. You will also be developing products for line extensions from initial concept thru production (including scale up and plant trials). Assist Procurement finding alternatives to discontinued or unavailable ingredients; resolve issues with ingredient specifications, etc. You will be doing competitor comparisons.

Requirements:

*BS Food Science, Bakery Science or related.
*3+ of product development experience including bench work, scale up and plant trials of frozen baked goods...brownies, laminated dough's, cupcakes, muffins, icing, frozen cakes.
*Experience in new product development and production start-ups and troubleshooting.

*Experience evaluating and recommending new technology or equipment.
*Production, quality and/or cost savings experience is a plus.
*Strong organizational skills.
*Excellent communication skills.
