Confectionary Application Specialist

Job Description:

Primary role is the development of new and creative applications of company’s key ingredients. Quantify the physical, functional and sensory performance of the ingredients in this role. Develop confectionery concepts to demonstrate existing and novel applications of ingredients. Write technical reports and presentations to support company’s ingredients in the confectionery industry. Visit with customers to provide technical support and service to customers. This role will involve both extensive laboratory and pilot plant work – working closely with baking group.

Requirements:

* BS Engineering, Chemistry AND MS Food Science.
* Company will consider a new MS graduate if they have university experience in confections, chewing gum, chocolate, rheology and emulsifiers.
* Ability to accurately formulate finished food products in related area.
* Solid communications skills - excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
