Corporate QA Manager Code: Location: Call office Job Description: Direct, coordinate QA, Regulatory, Food Saftey and/or Analytical activities. Develop and manage budgets for consumable and human resources. Represent QA Team in Business Unit activities that deliver business results. Direct leadership experience in FDA and/or USDA manufacturing locations. Develop or modify quality and food safety training programs. You will be a mentor to associates in quality and food safety management. Provide support to business units and customers as subject matter expert in quality management. This is a Corporate Quality Assurance Manager position and will report directly to the Vice-President of Quality Assurance. Requirements: * BS Food Science or related. * 8 - 10 years experience in a food or science related field preferred with high level production and processing knowledge in food or related industry. Demonstrated ability to lead and train others. * Advanced knowledge of business and management principles. * Advanced knowledge of scientific and continuous improvement principles. .Highly developed leadership skills, ability to train others, superior negotiation skills. * Experience in auditing, HACCP food safety systems and sanitation. * Strong computer skills * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. * Moderate domestic and some international travel required.
