Responsible for leading and developing a team of food scientists and culinary experts to develop custom-designed ingredient systems for food products. We are looking for hands-on development and scale-up of bench formulations and prototypes, including necessary ingredient statements, nutritional analyses and pricing. Travel to meet with key customers and attend plant trials. Applications research – we want someone who will make a significant impact on both profitability and customer satisfaction. Requirements: * PhD in Food Science or directly related field. * 5+ years in management role. * Must be resourceful and have creative problem-solving skills – proven track record in applied research successes. * Strong communication skills both verbal and written. *Computer savvy.
