Process Engineer Code: Location: Northeast Job Description: Lead in the development of process system improvements, evaluation of cost reduction and quality improvements to existing equipment and evaluation of potential new processes and implementation of those processes as required. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of cleaning/changeovers. Consult with Operations and R&D teams to bring new process technology in-house. Assist the Director of Operations in developing manufacturing improvements, including modifications to equipment and processes. Participate as a technical expert in Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan compliance. Lead in the development of all validation and verification programs for manufacturing, from experimental design to execution and data interpretation. Requirements: * BS Chemical Engineering. * 3 - 5 years of experience in process development and manufacturing operations. * Experience within the food manufacturing industry with powder-blending preferred. * Strong communications skills - both written and verbal. * Experience trouble-shooting production problems related to raw materials, equipment and/or processing conditions. |
