Job Description:

Direct Quality Assurance operations. Develop and control facility specific Quality Programs. Product from every batch is baked in the baking lab to test product quality and performance. Direct and maintain documentation for the facility Food Safety, HACCP, Recall, Pest Control, Quality, Food Security and Environmental Waste programs. Suggest methods for improving product quality, design or manufacturing processes. Direct and supervise Quality Assurance/Quality Control employees.

:
Requirements:

* BS Food Science or related.
* 6+ years of food manufacturing QA experience – ideally experience in bakery mix products and/or dough. Other finished bakery products would be good – cookies, crackers, bread, cake, brownies, muffins, etc.
* Experience in Food Law, FDA/USDA compliance requirements, industry GMP’s, HACCP, FSIS and AIB.
*Strong computer skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
