QA Manager Code: Location: Upper Midwest Job Description: Oversee entire food safety efforts, i.e. customer, regulatory and internal divisions. Oversee and develop HACCP plans, testing all materials (environmental, raw, in-line, finished products, etc), auditing and training of QA personnel. Assuring that customer goals are achieved and met. Work with sales and R&D on new projects and interface with procurement on raw material specifications. We are looking for someone able to initiate new programs, procedures, etc. - - taking ownership and responsibility and able to follow through and implement procedures. Requirements: * BS Food Science or related. * Ideal candidate will have food manufacturing experience in a plant setting with a wide range of ingredient experience. *Experience in sanitation and basic food safety knowledge. * Strong knowledge of Food Law, FDA/USDA compliance requirements, industry GMP’s, HACCP, AIB, Kosher, SQF, and OSHEA regulations. Certification in HACCP, AIB, SQF is a plus! *Strong computer skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
