Regulatory Manager Code: Location: NJ Job Description: We are looking for someone who has experience in supervising and is ready to move to the next level. We are looking for a Regulatory Manager, but the right candidate could come from QA or Regulatory Affairs or have a combination of both. Coordinate and manage special short and long term regulatory projects and assist in special training of personnel. Create and interpret FDA and USDA labeling, regularly communicates with R&D, Sales, Clients, the FDA and the USDA on behalf of the company. Keep informed of new and revised regulations from government agencies concerning food legislation and other areas relevant to the company’s business and communicates to appropriate personnel through reports, memos and emails. Maintain good relations with government officials, food trade associations and clients ensuring the company’s interests and public image are well represented. Provide leadership, guidance and direction to junior level Regulatory personnel, R&D Scientists and other departments in the interpretation and implementation of government regulations and company policies and procedures. Act as a liaison to manufacturing facilities. Requirements: * BS Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related. * Minimum of 10 years experience with regulatory agencies, nutritional labeling, developing nutritional labels. * Experience and knowledge of FDA and USDA, labeling in a manufacturing company producing CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods). * Must be self-directed, flexible, able to work hands-on and able to multitask. * Must have computer skills – preferred in a database management program. * Excellent communication skills. .
