Job Description:
You will manage QA and Sanitation groups including leadership for the development, implementation and coordination of company wide food safety, quality and sanitation systems. We are looking for someone to manage and provide hands on leadership for the development, implementation and coordination of company -- wide food safety, quality and sanitation systems/programs to prevent or eliminate defects and inconsistencies in new or existing products while ensuring compliance with federal codes and regulation. Manage, coach and encourage employees who are engaged in activities pertaining to the safety and quality of food products. Plan, assign and direct the work of subordinate staff. Provide leadership for all QA and Sanitation relations both internally and externally and overss all food safety and quality audit initiatives including 3rd party, customer, internal, etc. Oversee analytical and micro laboratories.
Requirements:
*BS Degree. *7 years of related Quality Assurance experience including a minimum of 4 years QA Management experience in a food production facility that uses thermal and non thermal food processing techniques. *Experience working directly with customers.
*Applicable certification desired - working knowledge of allergens, USDA, HACCP, GMP's, SOP's (AIB Sanitation Procedures would be a plus).
*Strong communication skills.
