Research Scientist

Job Description:

We are looking for someone to apply basic research results to create new and useful finished cheese products and processes. This research could be in new flavor trends, further processed cheese. You will work on cross functional teams to finish major projects. You will be working within R&D and closely with operation and quality assurance.

Requirements:

* BS or MS Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related.
* 3 years minimum experience in Food Manufacturing Industry with product experience in finished cheese products - shredded, cubed, grated and flavor blends - Italian, Mexican, etc.
* Willingness to work hands on - with experience developing, testing and evaluating cheese products, protiens, carbohydrates, functional food ingredients and food products.
* Some travel will be expected.
