Sanitation Manager Code: Location: Midwest Job Description: Develop and implement all procedures for Ready-To-Eat foods manufacturing plant. Hire, supervise and manage staff. We are looking for someone to organize and direct the sanitation efforts throughout the facility. Ensure the conformance to requirements regarding GMP’s, quality, safety, employee relations, productivity and cost. Manage 3rd shift operation. Work with Warehouse/Maintenance personnel to coordinated and prioritize problem situations. Requirements: * BS Science degree or business. * Prior management experience in food manufacturing industry preferably USDA or poultry plant. Presently working as a Production Supervisor or QA Supervisor is a plus. * Knowledgeable in HACCP/Proper use of chemicals is a must. Must be familiar with USDA-approved sanitation practices, proper use of chemicals and proper inspection of equipment and building grounds. * Experience with GMP’s, CIP and tear down, and third party audits. * Strong knowledge of food processing systems including high speed production lines. * Strong computer skills - Word, Excel, Power Point. * Understands and complies with government regulations - OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA. * Must be able to be flexible on work schedule 3rd shift position Sunday thru Thursday.
