Job Description:

Develop new products using internal and external resources to deliver products within time, taste, functionality, cost and regulatory expectations. Work may range from marketing driven initiatives to customer specific projects and include the R&D process from concept development through to scale-up. Develop relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders. Anticipate customers’ needs and respond to their requests by developing new innovative options using our core products/processes or consistent with our core technologies. Plan and document plant trials for the successful commercialization of new products. Manage the development process to ensure complete transparency and trace ability of work. This is a great opportunity to lead, manage and provide technical support and trouble shooting for several bakery plant facilities.s objectives.



Requirements:

* BS Food Science, Bakery Science or related.
* 15 years of experience in product development of bakery products – bread products from initial concept thru to production.
* Plant and scale-up experience needed.
* Must be well balanced between the strategic view of the work and the execution aspects of the job.
* Demonstrated problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
* Must have excellent project management, communication and presentation skills and successfully able to work with operations personnel.
* Must be willing to travel 70%-80% -- will be traveling to several plants.
