Job Description:
Lead R&D, development and execution of a Global Cereal Technology program/strategy (Flour, Grains, Gluten, etc.) and leverage your cereal expertise to identify short and long term strategic opportunities (process/quality improvements, enablers, new product hurdles/technologies). Develop and implement a global technical objective in support of the global business objectives.
Requirements:
* PhD preferred Cereal Science, Food Science or related.
* 10 15+ years of food industry experience with emphasis on Cereal Science research related to ingredient functionality and application development.
* Strong understanding of supply base, industry and consumer trends with regard to cereals/grains for bakery products.
* Understanding of food formulations and he impact and functionality of flour/grains in these systems.
* Strong computer skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be able to travel 40% internationally.
