VP Sales and Marketing Code:1700 15 Location: Work from home. Travel as required - visiting customers, reporting to corporate office every 4-6 weeks, etc. Job Description: This is a start-up position - the right candidate can work independently and is very self-motivated. Must be able to start from scratch and develop a plan to generate business - develop accounts and sell products. Selling antioxidants that will be coming from overseas that will be very competitive on price and purity. This is a ground floor position and there may be some opportunity for an equity position in the company at a future date. Requirements: * BS degree preferably something technical. * 5+ years experience selling food ingredients - preferably antioxidants, fats and oils. * Broad based experience and perspective of food/beverage industry, business, market issues and trends. Proven ability to translate consumer data and research into new products/campaigns. * Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills are critical - ability to lead and influence others essential.
