Sanitarian Code: 051906 27 Location: Call Us! Several Locations Job Description: Responsible for leading the implementation of the companies sanitation program throughout the manufacturing plant. Develop, implement, maintain and evaluate sanitation operating procedures and training sanitation program. Provide leadership and training for production personnel to complete production line and facility sanitation as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule, Daily Tasks, Maintenance,e Work Schedule and Production Schedule. Be a technical liaison between factory personnel, sanitation chemical supplier, Quality Assurance and third party sanitation provider. Create a safe working environment and a structured orderly chemical storage and sanitation supply area in the factory. Requirements: *BS Food Science, Microbiology or other related. *5+ years experience in food manufacturing. *2 years of Supervisory experience (experience with union workforce a plus) *Certified Sanitation or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred. *Strong knowledge in HACCP, Microbiology, Sanitation, Chemical Safety, Pest Control, and Quality Systems. *Strong computer skills - Word, Excel, Power Point. *Understands and complies with government regulations-OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA *Strong communications skills - bilingual in Spanish.
